WHMIS

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) has Changed to WHMIS 2015. It was introduced in Canada in 1988 so that workers could receive information about the hazardous products they may use.

WHMIS has been updated in 2015. We are in a transition period and you may see both WHMIS 1988 and WHMIS 2015 labels in the workplace.

This 20 minute module will familiarize you with the symbols and pictograms, labels and data sheets for both HMIS 1988 and WHMIS 2015.
